2) Select 'Settings' and select 'Control Panel'. (The 'Control Panel' folder opens.)
3) Double-click the 'System' icon. (The 'System Properties' dialog box appears.)
4) Click the 'Device Manager' tab. (The system devices display.)
5) Select the 'Computer' icon.
6) Click 'Properties'. (The 'Computer Properties' dialog box appears.)
7) Select 'Interrupt request (IRQ)' radio button. (The dialog box displays the devices with their interrupt assignment and name.)
8) Record the interrupts that are not assigned.
9) Click 'OK'.
10) Turn off the computer and disconnect the power cables.
CAUTION: This procedure exposes the computer internal circuitry to electrostatic discharge and possible damage. It should be performed by a qualified service technician.
11) Reconnect the power cables and turn on the computer.
12) Run a program that uses the adapter card to confirm proper operation.
